China GDP grows 5% in Q1, beats expectations on exports, spending strength
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:2040), which rose 9.95% or 2.75 points to trade at 30.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) added 7.76% or 0.17 points to end at 2.36 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) was up 7.39% or 6.00 points to 87.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SHL Financing Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1183), which fell 3.92% or 0.78 points to trade at 19.12 at the close. Maharah for Human Resources (TADAWUL:1831) declined 3.68% or 0.21 points to end at 5.50 and Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4162) was down 1.51% or 1.10 points to 71.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 262 to 59 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4162) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.51% or 1.10 to 71.90.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.88% or 2.37 to $63.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.61% or 2.31 to hit $66.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 3.26% or 109.01 to trade at $3,234.99 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.19% to 4.17, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.22% at 101.39.
